60 years of EAACI - on the road to prevention and healthy living

English

Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union (PGEU)

“The Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union (PGEU) is the European association representing over 400,000 community pharmacists. In addition to their vast knowledge of medicines, pharmacists also provide advice, information and treatment for a number of minor ailments and chronic conditions and play a vital part in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives – such as the EAACI Allergy Awareness Campaign. Pharmacists also provide dietary and healthy lifestyle advice to avoid the development or worsening of chronic conditions or unhealthy behaviours. As pharmacists continue expanding their patient-facing role within European health systems, there are more and more opportunities for patients and the general public to engage with their local community pharmacist for help.”
