Recommendations:

  • Prophylactic house dust mite (HDM) oral immunotherapy in high risk infants -> reduced sensitization to any allergen (Zolkipli et al., 2015)
  • Use of HA formulas in case breastfeeding is not an option in high-risk infants -> prevents food allergies (de Silva et al., 2014)
