Scientific Programme Committee

The Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) is a permanent body of the academy aimed at ensuring high scientific standards, continuity and harmonisation of EAACI Congresses. The members and responsibilities are defined in EAACI Bylaws, Art. 1 Congresses.
The committee is responsible for the scientific programmes of the EAACI Annual Congresses.

The work of the SPC is chaired, organised and coordinated by the SPC Coordinator. The SPC Coordinator is appointed by the Executive Committee for a term of two years, which may be preceded by a year acting as assistant SPC Coordinator.
The SPC meets at least twice every year and a delegated subgroup also meets at the Marathon Meeting to finalise the last sessions of the programme of the years congress.
